Happy to be in the Finals
I have made it to the finals of the Best Cubs Blog 2003. Go over to the View From the Bleechers to vote in the finals. This year I have a few more things I would like to do with this site. I plan for a new look and longer pieces.
I am happy to be in the finals, but I do not expect to win. To be listed in the top 10 is honor enough. I have voted for who I think should win.
I have been putting off on what I think about all the Greg Maddux talk, but I just do not see us signing him. I think he could teach our guys a lot, but in the end it will not happen. Call it money or even just roster space, but I would give it a 10% chance. Who knows, if the Angels can sign Vlad then I guess the Cubs can sign Greg back to Chicago.
