Cubs Sweep Away the Brewers and Move into First

A three game sweep of the Brewers is just what the docto ordered. Also combined with with an Astros loss the Cubs are now in first place by .5 games. Wood pitched up and down today, but was good enough to get the win.

The Big shock of the day was Randall Simon. He had his first ever 2 HR game and had 5 RBI. Sammy continued to haunt the Brewers with another HR. The Cubs head to the PR to face the Expos. The Expos are the last team that has .500 record or better they face the rest of the year. The Cubs will send Zambrano, Clement, and TBA for Thursday.
